Head of Strategic Media Partnerships | Snapchat
Sara Abu Zahra is the Head of Strategic Media Partnerships for Snapchat across MENA and India working with Strategic Broadcasters, Digital Publishers, on Content and Shows.
Prior to Snapchat, she headed Entertainment Strategic Media Partnerships for Entertainment in the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) and Turkey at Facebook/ Instagram; as well as served as as Head of Content at Choueiri Group. Through this role, she was instrumental in shaping TV & digital content, and worked on several flagship shows including, Arab Idol, The Voice, The Voice Kids, Arabs Got Talent, Project Runway and Top Chef.
Prior to that Sara was leading on Content Strategies for TV, Film, Digital and Radio for Starcom MediaVest Group,and as a TV Producer at Leo Burnett.
In her free time Sara also pursues her passion in content. She has produced her own short film produced “Abu Rami”, which won several awards in different film festivals across the globe and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. In her earlier career she worked as a support on Hollywood films in the region and has worked on the Universal Studios movie – “The Kingdom” Sara has also directed few TVCs in the region, which were shortlisted at Cannes Lions.
Sara completed her undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business.
